The CBM-1000 Series Cold Box Core Machine is a next-generation, fully automatic, high-efficiency core shooter developed for cold box processes, compatible with Furan, Phenolic, and PUPMI resin systems. It is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of high-precision, complex, and high-volume core production in modern foundries.

Integrating precision mold closing, servo sand shooting, gas curing, automatic core ejection, mold temperature control, and exhaust treatment, the CBM-1000 seamlessly connects with conveyor lines, robots, and in-line inspection systems to form fully automated, unmanned core-making cells—ideal for cores used in engine blocks, cylinder heads, manifolds, turbochargers, and transmission cases.

As a core equipment for green and smart foundries, the CBM series enables comprehensive upgrades in quality, efficiency, cost, and carbon reduction.

Working Principle

Mold Preparation & Closing
Mold is preheated or cooled to set temperature (optional); hydraulic/servo system closes mold precisely with automatic clamping force holding.

Sand Metering & Servo Shot
Resin-coated sand is metered into the shot sleeve; servo-proportional valve controls air pressure in multi-stage mode, ensuring full, uniform fill in complex cavities.

Gas Curing
Curing gas (e.g., SO, CO, TEA, amine) is injected, triggering rapid cross-linking at ambient temperature. Curing time: 15–60 seconds, fully adjustable.
Venting & Mold Opening
After curing, system automatically vents gas; mold opens and ejector pins push out the core.

Automatic Core Removal & Mold Maintenance (Optional)
Robot or conveyor removes core automatically; optional automatic spray system applies release agent to improve surface finish and extend mold life.

Exhaust Treatment & Recovery (Eco-Option)
Optional gas recovery & neutralization system treats SO and amine gases—emission <10 mg/m³, compliant with GB 16297 and EU IED.
