Product Description of Vibratory Hopper Feeder
he Vibratory Hopper Feeder (also known as a vibration bowl or shake feeder) is an automated system that uses electromagnetic or mechanical vibration to automatically feed, orient, and deliver loose parts in sequence. It is widely used in industries such as automotive components, hardware, electronic parts, fasteners, medical devices, daily goods, and food packaging. Driven by a vibration motor at the base, the feeder causes parts to move along a spiral track, where they are flipped, sorted, and oriented—finally outputting in a consistent posture. It seamlessly integrates with downstream equipment such as robots, assembly machines, inspection systems, and packaging machines, significantly enhancing production automation and efficiency.

Available in round, linear, multi-lane, inclined, and enclosed configurations, this series uses a modular design and can be customized with dedicated tracks and vibration systems based on part shape, size, material, and weight (1g–500g) to meet high-speed, precise, and low-damage feeding requirements.
Working Principle
The vibratory hopper achieves automatic part orientation and feeding through controlled vibration + gravity guidance + track design:
Loading & Start-up
Bulk parts are loaded into the hopper. When the vibration motor starts, the hopper generates high-frequency, low-amplitude vibration (50–120Hz, 0.5–3mm amplitude), causing parts to bounce and move upward along the spiral track.

Orientation & Sorting
The spiral track is equipped with orientation guides, rejection slots, and flipping mechanisms. Based on part shape and center of gravity, incorrectly oriented parts are automatically rejected, allowing only correctly oriented parts to proceed.

Stable Output
Oriented parts enter a linear vibratory feeder (or direct output), transported at a stable pitch and speed to downstream equipment (e.g., robot pickup station, assembly station).

Continuous Replenishment
When the material level drops, optional level sensors + automatic loading systems (e.g., elevators, conveyors) enable unattended continuous operation.
