The S25 Series Twin-Arm Continuous Sand Mixer is a high-performance, fully automatic resin sand mixing machine designed for modern, high-efficiency foundry production. It is suitable for preparing molding sand for furan-coated sand, hot-box, and cold-box processes. With a twin-mixing-arm alternating operation and continuous sand discharge design, it ensures uniform mixing, stable sand output, and outstanding efficiency. It is widely used in core and mold production for high-precision castings in automotive, engine, valve, pump, and aerospace industries.

Integrating sand conveying, resin dosing, hardener metering, high-speed mixing, automatic chamber cleaning, and PLC intelligent control, this machine enables fully automatic and continuous operation from raw materials to mixed sand—making it a core component of intelligent and green foundry production lines.

Working Principle

The S25 Series operates on a twin-mixing-chamber alternating cycle:

Arm #1 in Operation: Base sand, resin, and hardener are fed into the first mixing chamber in precise ratios and thoroughly mixed by high-speed rotating blades. The mixed sand is continuously discharged to the core shooter.

Arm #2 in Preparation: While Arm #1 is operating, Arm #2 completes chamber cleaning and material metering, ready for immediate use.

Automatic Switching: When Arm #1 finishes its discharge cycle, the system automatically switches to Arm #2. Arm #1 then enters cleaning and preparation mode—ensuring seamless continuous sand output.

Resin and hardener are dosed via high-precision gear pumps + mass flow meters with closed-loop control, achieving ±1% accuracy. Supports recipe storage, automatic recall, and remote monitoring.

Automatic Chamber Cleaning, Anti-Curing
Before each switch, the mixing chamber is automatically sprayed with cleaning fluid (e.g., release agent or dedicated cleaner) to remove residual resin and prevent curing blockage—ensuring long-term reliability.

Modular Design, Easy Maintenance
Wear-prone parts (arms, blades, liners) made of wear-resistant alloy for long life and easy replacement. Rational layout with ample maintenance space reduces downtime and costs.
