1. Introduction of process flow and main equipment:
The device is mainly composed of three parts: used sand pretreatment, boiling roasting (has obtained two national patents) and regenerated sand post-treatment.
The used sand pretreatment part consists of tape separator, vibrating crusher, 1# bucket elevator and used sand storage bin. The waste sand falls on the magnetic separation belt through drop box, and after the iron sand is separated by the magnetic separation pulley, it is added to the vibrating crusher, and the sand block is broken into small sand blocks or single sand particles less than 3mm, which are lifted by the 1# bucket elevator to the old sand storage bin.
The boiling roasting part consists of a disc feeder, a 2# bucket reclaimer and a boiling roasting machine. The disc feeder below the used sand storage bin will evenly and quantitatively feed the old sand, and then lift it from the 2# bucket elevator to the upper part of the furnace, and add it to the furnace for regeneration through boiling roasting.
The post-processing of the reclaimed sand consists of a high-efficiency heat exchanger and a cooling and lifting device. The high-temperature regenerated sand flows into the high-efficiency heat exchanger to reduce the sand production temperature and increase the high-pressure air temperature. The regenerated sand after heat transfer cooling is cooled and lifted by the cooling elevator and then put into storage, and the preheated high-pressure air is returned to the mixing chamber in the furnace for waste heat utilization.
The main engine of this equipment is a boiling roaster.
The working principle is that the old sand falls after being distributed by the sand separator, and the rising hot air enters the boiling chamber through the baffle for preheating, and the high temperature gas in the mixing chamber boils through several nozzles. Bake the old sand on the boiling orifice plate to burn the resin film covered by the sand to achieve the purpose of regeneration. With the continuous addition of old sand, the baking sand moves through several "∽" shapes under the action of the high and low baffles, which ensures the residence time of the baking sand in the furnace and makes the resin film fully burn. The calcined sand is further regenerated by mutual collision and friction during boiling. The fine powder in the regenerated sand is collected by the dust collector through the dust removal pipeline under the action of boiling.
2. Application:
The device has been used in 7 domestic factories, including 2 cast iron coated sand regeneration, 2 cast aluminum coated sand regeneration, 2 cast iron cold core sand regeneration, and 1 cast steel coated sand regeneration. Years of production practice have proved that the roaster has reliable operation, high thermal efficiency and remarkable energy-saving effect. Compared with new sand, the regenerated sand has a smaller expansion rate, less gas production, more round grain shape and better usability. The data detected in production are as follows.
